A printable calendar should be readable at arm’s length: weekday names, date numbers, optional week numbers and bank holidays — not a collage of ads.
Start from a year or a month
Open the printable calendars hub, pick a year such as printable 2026, or go month by month from the 2026 calendar. The year printout uses one month per page so the grid stays large enough to write in.
On the print bar you can choose portrait or landscape, Monday or Sunday start, week numbers, and whether England and Wales bank holidays appear. Sunday start does not change ISO week numbers.
PDF, PNG and paper
Use the browser print dialog for paper, or download a PDF if you want a file to email. A PNG is a snapshot of one month — useful for slides, not for a full year. Check the dates against GOV.UK before you pin a holiday list on a staff noticeboard.
Personal notes stay local
The notes box on the print bar is stored in this browser only (local storage). Notes are not sent to our servers or to analytics. They appear on a PDF only if you type them before you download. They never appear in an .ics file. See the privacy policy.
If the grid is too dense
On a phone, use a single month rather than the full year. If you need a different format, contact us with the year or month. Accessibility notes are on the accessibility statement.
